For clients for whom it is difficult to attend the clinic, we can attend your home or care facility in the Canberra region.

HOME VISITS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Initial assessment of your lymphoedema or chronic oedema
  • Recommendations for management, which are tailored to you
  • Initial reports to your medical and care providers
  • Regular liaising with care providers to ensure holistic care

MANAGEMENT MAY INCLUDE:

  • Manual lymphatic drainage massage
  • Compression garment prescription and sales (including wraps and other products)
  • Education for the patient, family and carers regarding donning and doffing compression garments or wraps
  • Compression bandaging
  • Exercise prescription

We recommend an initial assessment with our home visit physiotherapist or occupational therapist, and ongoing care can be provided by our accredited lymphatic massage therapists.
